Technical Instructors hold diving certifications
at the highest levels and bring a wealth of experience
to our industry. Choosing to become at Technical
Instructor at any level requires dedication and
professionalism, in order to become successful.
I thoroughly enjoy working with instructors who
aspire to become great dive professionals. Having
trained hundreds of instructors from all over
the world you can be rest assured that you will
leave your Instructor training class with a high
level of ability and education that will enable
you to then teach at a great technical class.
It is always good to talk with your Instructor
Trainer before enrolling on a course. So please
feel free to contact me with any questions you
may have regarding your instructor training.
TDI Nitrox Instructor
This is the course for Instructors
wishing to teach Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) as a breathing gas. If open
water dives are included, the maximum depth is
not to exceed the skill level of the Instructor.
The objectives of this course are to train Instructors
in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures
for teaching EANx 22 to EANx 40.
Course Structure :
2 days (one day theory – one day diving)
Pre-requisites apply to all instructor level courses
TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor
This is the instructor level certification
wishing to teach Enriched course for Instructors wishing to teach the use of EANx
21 through 100% oxygen for optimal mixes to a
depth of 40 metres. The object of this course
is to train Nitrox Instructors to teach the benefits,
hazards and proper procedures for EANx 21 through
100% oxygen for dives not requiring staged decompression,
multi level dives using gas switches to extend the NDL.
Course Structure :
3 days (one day theory - two days diving)
5 days if combined with TDI decompression Procedures Instructor
Pre-requisites apply to all instructor level courses
TDI Decompression Procedures Instructor
This course examines
the theory, methods and procedures of planned
stage decompression diving. This program is designed
as a stand-alone course or it may be taught in
conjunction with such courses as Advanced Nitrox
Instructor, Advanced Wreck Instructor, or Extended
Range Instructor. The objective of this course
is to train Instructors how to plan and conduct
a standard decompression procedures course not
to exceed a maximum depth of 45 metres. The most
common equipment requirements, gear set-ups, deco-techniques
and decompression mixtures are covered. Students
are permitted to utilize Enriched Air Nitrox mixes
or oxygen for decompression provided the gas mix
is within their current Nitrox certification level.
Course Structure :
3 days (one day theory – two days diving)
5 days if combined with TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor
Pre-requisites apply to all instructor level courses
TDI Extended Range Instructor
This course provides
the training and experience required to be certified
to competently teach air dives to 55 metres that
require staged decompression, utilizing Nitrox
mixtures or oxygen during decompression. The objective
of this course is to train Instructors in the
proper techniques, equipment requirements, and
hazards of deep air diving to a maximum of 55
metres and utilizing Nitrox mixtures or oxygen
for staged decompression.
Course Structure :
5 days (plus one full assist)
